In preparation of the Ten-Year Network Development Plan 2016 (TYNDP) ENTSO-E organised a public stakeholder workshop for inclusion of transmission and storage projects. The workshop took place on 25 February 2015, from 10:00 to 15:00, at the ENTSO-E premises in Brussels.

The workshop focused on the new European Commission guidelines for the inclusion of transmission and storage projects in the TYNDP 2016.

During the workshop ENTSO-E and the European Commission along with the stakeholders presented and discussed the following:

• the link between the TYNDP and PCIs: projects part of the TYNDP are eligible to be submitted for the EC Projects of Common Interest (PCIs) process - Art 3(7) of the Regulation (EU) 347/2013;
• the TYNDP and the PCI process;
• the technical and legal requirements included in the European Commission guidelines;
• the timeline for the project promoters' submission for the TYNDP 2016.

Following the workshop ENTSO-E will organize only one submission window between 1-30 April 2015. During this month all the interested parties are invited to express their interest and submit the requested legal and technical data as per European Commission guidelines, which will be made available in March 2015.
