ENTSO-E published at the beginning of November eight final documents which form part of the TYNDP 2016 package: six regional investment plans, the scenario development report and the TYNDP project list. All of these reports sum up to no less than 800 pages. They contain information on the regional needs and projects, on the common planning studies, on scenarios to be used in the TYNDP 2016 and what infrastructure is to be built by 2030.
The current webinar aimed to support the stakeholders’ understanding of what are the reports’ main messages, how the TYNDP 2016 scenarios have developed compared to 2014 ones and how do they all fit in the European grid development puzzle for 2020 and 2030.
The webinar also tackled the TYNDP 2016 next steps such as transmission and storage CBA assessment and some initial results for 2020.
