As part of an upcoming public consultation, ENTSO-E is organising a public stakeholder workshop on 18 July 2013 in Brussels to provide information about, and receive feedback on, the draft manual of procedures and next steps in the process.
ENTSO-E invites stakeholders to register for a public stakeholder workshop to be held at the ENTSO-E premises in Brussels as part of the formal consultation on the manual of procedures.
The Commission Regulation (EU) No 543/2013 of 14 June 2013 on the submission and publication of data in electricity markets foresees the establishment and operation of a central information transparency platform by ENTSO-E, where all information required by the Regulation will be published.
Following discussions with the ‘Transparency Stakeholder Expert Group’ who have met on five occasions since January 2013, ENTSO-E has developed the draft manual of procedures to include:
a) details and format of the submission of data;
b) standardised ways and formats of data communication and exchange between primary owners of data, TSOs, data providers and the ENTSO for Electricity;
c) technical and operational criteria which data providers would need to fulfil when providing data to the central information transparency platform;
d) appropriate classification of production types referred to in the Articles 14 (1), 15(1) and 16(1) of the Regulation.
The workshop will provide a forum for the views of those organisations impacted by the Regulation, and an opportunity to raise questions and clarifications on the information to be published.
