All interested stakeholders are invited to participate in the last Ten-Year Network Development Plan 2014 (TYNDP) public workshop on 4 September 2014, from 10:30 to 15:30, at the ENTSO-E premises in Brussels.
As the sole pan-European electricity transmission development plan, the TYNDP 2014 tackles the 2030 time horizon for which it underlines the main grid development drivers, the congestion bottlenecks, and the expected 2030 transmission target capacities.
Considering the above, the TYNDP 2014 presents 120 infrastructure projects of pan-European relevance to strengthen the electricity grid, along with the cost-benefit analysis (CBA) assessments for all these identified projects and the adequacy reached by building the proposed infrastructure.
The draft TYNDP 2014 package is available for public consultation from 10 July until 20 September 2014. To provide support to the stakeholders wanting to contribute to the TYNDP 2014 package consultation and to group initial feedback, ENTSO-E is holding a public stakeholder TYNDP 2014 consultation workshop on 4 September 2014 in Brussels. Presentations and discussion will focus on:
- the draft TYNDP 2014 outcomes;
- the link between the TYNDP 2014 and the 2015 PCI list;
- the next steps in the TYNDP 2014 process.
